SUMMARY Given the need to comply with the Law of quality assurance providers of Health Services in Colombia, we have been enjoying the meeting of professionals dedicated to the practice of traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM ) to initiate a process of developing a clinical guideline for addressing the most common mental disorders in outpatient medical consultation After a corresponding review of the relevant literature, at different bases of electronic health data, we did not find any guide evidence-based in acupuncture for the management of mental disorders clinical practice we found a guide to Acupuncture and Moxibustion for Acupuncturists Without Borders prepared by the Cornelius Foundation ( 12).
